Our Story

Central Comfort started in 1985 when John Faust Jr. decided to turn a family tradition into a legacy.

Chris grew up seeing HVAC work firsthand, with family and friends already in the industry. After graduating from vocational school and gaining experience with an oil company and an industrial HVAC firm, he was certain he'd found his calling. Now a master of heating and cooling, he set out to bring his own unique brand of service in Jefferson.

He started Central Comfort with a simple vision: bringing superior HVAC to Jefferson. He used all the knowledge his time in oil and big-time HVAC to craft a company that'd stand the test of time. In the late 1990s, Chris’s father and two sons joined the team. In doing so, they made our company a true family-owned HVAC business. For over 40 years, we’ve kept our promise of quality work. We also endeavor to treat our customers like family.
